PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Expect traffic on Phelan Road and road closures between Johnson Rd. and Sheep Creek Rd on Saturday, October 7 due to Phelan Phamily Phun Days and Parade.
The Phelan Chamber of Commerce will hold its Phamily Phun Days from 7am to 11am. on Saturday will be closed to vehicle traffic.
The parade starts at 9am with the parade route beginning near Phelan Road & Valle Vista Road and ending at the corner of Phelan Road & Sheep Creek Road. The parade will begin with an opening ceremony that will take place at the Chamber “Waterfall” located across from Phelan Elementary School, which is the best viewing area.
The rest of the day is filled with the always popular Champagne Climate Car Show, burnout contest and open header competition. The Phun Zone is always popular with the youngster (and young at heart) and the is always all kinds of great food and beverages for the kids and adults. There are even tons of booths from local businesses and crafters, local clubs, local churches, and local service organizations.
