CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting the public that construction contractors will perform night work on Interstate 15 if weather permitting.
Nighttime work is scheduled from Monday November 27 through Friday December 1 between 7pm and 4am Friday work will conclude Saturday morning December 2, at 4am. During this period, the construction crews will be working under the bridge on Highway 138 and I-15 Northbound and Southbound with alternating lane closures. Crews will be focusing on top-of-the-bridge activities, including bridge deck demolition.
Closures will vary from 1 lane to 3 lanes during the night. Please note, various lane, ramps and connector closures will occur in the project zone. Work performed will include deck rehabilitation, temporary stripping, temporary signal light installation, polyester concrete overlay, methacrylate, replace bridge rail, replace joint seals, approach slabs, repair soffit.
All work is dependent on contractor receiving proper materials for each job function. It can be changed or canceled at any time.

- Interstate 15 Southbound to Hwy 138 Cajon Pass Southbound onramp and offramp closures.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
