CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol reported a man died after being hit by a motorhome Friday night on Cajon Boulevard old Route 66.
At about 5:28pm, a driver of the motorhome reportedly hit something in the roadway along Cajon Blvd. near Keenbrook Road. The driver did pull over and stop on the right shoulder. Then found they struck a pedestrian.
Rescue crews attempted CPR on the victim but failed to revive him. The male pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the motorhome remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No one was hurt inside the motorhome.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
