HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued cold weather that will impacting the High Desert and Mountain areas. The cold weather goes into effect at 12am Thursday morning until 9am as local temperatures is expected to dip below the freezing level. Remember black ice may form on the roads and the freeway/highways.
Remember to shut off your sprinklers.
Remember to protect your 4 Ps! People, Pets, Pipes and Plants are all sensitive to these cold temperatures.
Pet owners are encouraged to take special precautions with their animals during freezing temperatures. It’s best to keep all pets indoors.
Advises sensitive plants vegetation will need protection from the cold freezing air.
