MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Ice and snow covered roads led to several crashes throughout the Mountain Pass area of Interstate 15 Thursday morning.
There were several accidents on I-15 between the town of Baker California and Las Vegas Nevada receive a few inches of snow in spots freeway as the cold storm blew across the desert around 5am.
California Highway Patrol said was hit hard with CHP reporting at least 15 crashes between the town of Baker CA. and Primm NV. Most of the crashes were spinout.
Several people were hurt in a multiple vehicle collision on I-15 about two mile south of Halloran Spring Road exit.
In these icy conditions, it’s the speed that’s the ultimate danger. So slow down under the speed limit, pay attention to what’s happening in front of you.
