PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >>GoFundMe page has been set up for the family of the two girls who died following a major crash on Phelan Road Friday afternoon.

The page states, Hi my name Alexandra Puentes, Friday January 26th I was involved in a car accident on Phelan Rd. I have picked up my siblings from school and I had my niece with me. We went out to eat and headed home. I never drive fast especially if I have my family with me. I was getting ready to turn into my street, but there was so many cars coming from the other lane. I woke up in the hospital asking for them until ultimately they had told me that both my sister and niece had died on the scene. Me and my cousin were in critical condition but I was ultimately released.

From the CHP traffic log. The crash happened around 1:35pm Friday January 26, 2024. The California Highway Patrol says a male driver, was driving a white Ford Econoline E350 work van when he rear-ended a white Toyota Camry with two adults and two children inside on Phelan Rd.
