NEEDLES, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi driver hauling a trailer (you know the company name) was cited earlier last week for going 92 mph on an Interstate 40, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officials say the traffic stop took place on Thursday April 18, 2024 at approximately 7:10am. The location of the stop was on eastbound Interstate 40, west of the Highway 95 in an unincorporated area of San Bernardino County.
A reminder in California, vehicles with three or more axles, as well as all vehicles that are being towed. The California maximum speed limit is 55 mph not 92 mph. CHP says Please slow down!!!
The driver was cited and then released, officials said.
Additionally, with warm weather approaching and more people towing RV trailers, watercraft, and offroad toys, let’s get to our destinations safely.
