VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Three drivers were arrested for Driving Under the Influence, one was arrest on a warrant, and unknown amount citations were issued at a DUI Checkpoint on May 10, 2024.
The DUI checkpoint was held by the Victorville Police Department at intersection of Bear Valley Road and 5th Street from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. It was reported more than 1,500 vehicles were contacted during the checkpoint and 12 vehicles were impounded.
Funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
