ADELANTO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is thrilled to share updates on our ongoing efforts to enhance safety, accessibility, and communication along Highway 395. From rehabilitating pavement to upgrading guardrails, install changeable message signs, and upgrade facilities to meet American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, our project aims to improve the infrastructure vital to the communities of Hesperia, Victorville, and Adelanto.
Construction will continue on June 17, 2024, at Chamberlaine Way to Farmington Rd on Route US- Hwy 395. Contractor crews will work at nighttime hours.
Nightwork hours are 8pm. to 6am., Monday to Friday.
Traffic will be escorted via pilot vehicle, alternating between both directions. While work may require temporary lane closures at various points along the route(s). Expect traffic delays in the work area and please be mindful of any signage indicating work area speed limits.
The project is anticipated to be completed late December 2024. Weather conditions may impact duration. All work is dependent on contractor receiving proper materials for each job function. It can be changed or canceled at any time.
LOCAL RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES: SIGNIFICANT NOISE AND VIBRATIONS MAY OCCUR NEAR THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE DURING WORK OPERATIONS.
