CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Motorcycle rider was injured in a three vehicle crash on Interstate 15 around 4am Thursday October 10, 2024. It happened in the southbound lanes just after the Cleghorn Road exit. (Photo above is credit by Jhussef Estrada)
California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the crash. From the CHP traffic log stated the motorcycle rider was laying down in the center divider not moving. The bike was reported to be stuck under a semi tractor-trailer. The third vehicle was an unknown color make or model that didn’t stop at the scene.
Rescue crews arrived on scene, and transported the rider by ground ambulance with major injuries. Traffic was backup all the way to Ranchero Road as the freeway was temporary stop for the cleanup.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
