RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A male from Long Beach died late Saturday morning after he leapt off a bridge and onto 210 Freeway. The 18-year-old was fatally hit by a truck and a car heading westbound on the freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.
The CHP is investigating an incident in which an 18-year-old man died on the 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga about 4:07am Saturday December 21, 2024.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the pedestrian jumped from the Etiwanda Avenue over-crossing and landed on a Ford F-550 truck that was traveling on westbound 210 Freeway, sustaining fatal injuries, the CHP said in a news release. The pedestrian was subsequently struck by a Toyota Corolla, also traveling on westbound 210 freeway. Both drivers did stop and remained at the scene following the incident.
The pedestrian was identified as a 18 year-old male, Long Beach resident.
