BLOOMINGTON, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was killed while walking across westbound lanes of the Interstate 10 Freeway early Saturday morning

According to California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just after the Cedar Avenue exit on westbound I-10 freeway about 12:50am, February 15, 2025.

Witnesses told officers that the pedestrian was walking in the slow lane. That’s when the pedestrian was struck by a unknown vehicle traveling westbound.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The male driver that hit the pedestrian did stop and remain at the scene. He was cooperated with authorities from reports.

It remains unclear why the person was walking on the freeway, and there was no vehicle nearby.
