California Highway Patrol responded to the rollover crash involving a white Jeep Liberty SUV about 6:12pm on March 26, 2025. The crash was located on Sheep Creek Rd near Yucca Terrace Drive.

Speeding may have caused the driver to lose control of the Jeep, which for unknown reasons still under investigation. The driver lost control and overturned multiple times. The vehicle ended up approximately 50 feet off the roadway in the open desert on its side.

According to the CHP traffic log, one person was ejected from the Jeep and was trapped inside.

Recuse crew from San Bernardino County Fire said one person was ejected was taken by Mercy Air #2 helicopter. Mercy Air landed at the nearby Stater Bros shopping center in Phelan to transported the person to Antelope Valley Medical Center but the extent of the injuries is unknown.

The other person that was trapped was transported by ground ambulance with unknown injuries.
