It happened just before 8:30pm Friday March 28, 2025 on Highway 18 between Joshua Road and Central Rd.
Apple Valley Police say the driver went off the road, hitting a power pole, which then pulled down wires across lanes.
The damage initially knocked out power to over a hundred customers. Power has been restored Saturday morning.
Thankfully, from reports they were able to walk away unharmed.
It’s unclear what lead the vehicle to leave the roadway. It looks like speed was a factor in the collision.
