PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man was airlifted to a hospital after he was struck by a vehicle on Phelan Road Friday morning, officials said.
The incident happened around 6:10am on April 4, 2025 in the area of Eaby Road and on Phelan Rd.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire rescue crews responded to reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. They found the man who’d been struck by a vehicle on Phelan Rd.
Firefighters rendered aid to the injured male pedestrian.
The man was airlifted by a medical helicopter due to medical needs determined by rescue personnel on scene. Mercy Air #22 landed at the nearby Stater Bros shopping center in Phelan to transported him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center but the extent of the injuries is unknown.
The driver that hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene.
