VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was struck and killed by a speeding vehicle early Saturday morning in Victorville.
According to the Victorville Police Department, the collision happened around 12:56am on Saturday April 19, 2025, at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Mesa View Drive in the city of Victorville.
Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male. It was determined the male was struck by an unknown vehicle. Following the crash, the suspect vehicle fled the scene.
The Victorville Police Station Major Accident Investigation Team responded and assumed the investigation. It was learned the suspect vehicle drove west on Bear Valley Road. The front end of the vehicle struck the pedestrian as the pedestrian crossed the roadway. Following the crash, the suspect vehicle fled the scene. The investigation is still ongoing, and investigators are asking for assistance from the public to develop suspect leads.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Bear Valley Road was closed for the duration of the investigation.
