ESSEX, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 51-year-old man died after his vehicle left the road and rolled over multiple time on Interstate 40 last week, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers were called to the scene of the rollover crash around 5:42am on Sunday June 1, 2025, on eastbound I-40 about 2 miles before the Essex Road exit.
The driver, identified as Nicholas Guerrero, a 51-year-old resident of Wildomar, was declared deceased at the scene after been ejected from the vehicle.
According to the CHP, the crash remains under investigation and it is unknown if weather or wet roadways were a factor. Additional details were limited at this time. This fatal rollover crash will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Office.
