CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The driver of a pickup truck pulling a trailer that went off Interstate 15 down the embankment on the Cajon Pass narrowly avoided disaster Friday morning.
It happened just after midnight around 12:15am Friday August 29, 2025, in the southbound lanes of the 15 freeway just after the Cleghorn Road exit.
The vehicle involved in the crash was a white Ford F350 truck pulling an empty gooseneck trailer.
Authorities say the driver lost control of the truck and went down about 50 feet down the embankment.
The California Highway Patrol reported no injuries from the wreck.
