PINON HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash Monday afternoon on Highway 18.
The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the area of Hwy 18/Palmdale Road near Blanco Rd about 4:45pm on September 22, 2025.
The San Bernardino County Fire reports the head-on crash involved two vehicles, including a white SUV and a semi tractor-trailer hauling pallets of drinks.
From the CHP traffic log said, the white SUV was on fire when crews arrived on the scene.
One person was deceased at the scene.
A social media post states both lanes of the highway were closed for several hours due to the crash and the resulting cleanup.
We will have additional information when it becomes available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
