LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol are investigating a two-vehicle head-on crash that occurred Thursday night on Highway 18.
CHP and the San Bernardino County Fire Department report two vehicles on Hwy 18 at Camp Rock Road collided head-on around 5:24pm November 13, 2025.
One vehicle, a white Ford F150 pickup truck pulling a trailer, and a black SUV, both fully engulfed in flames from crash damage.
Details about the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries remain limited. However, officials confirmed that at least one person suffered injuries and required to be transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
First responders closed off a portion of Hwy 18 in response to the accident. It is unclear when the road will be re-opened.
