LLANO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025, on Highway 18.
Officers responded to a collision reported at approximately 6:35pm near the intersection of Hwy 18 and 248th Street East.
According to authorities, a pedestrian was struck by a green Ford F-150 pickup truck while walking near the intersection. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the location.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
