FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Southern California Weather Force has issued a High Wind Warning and a Santa Ana Wind Warning, effective Wednesday night throught Friday night. Strong winds will happen on Thursday night into Friday night.
According to the Southern California Weather Force model, the mountains and foothills will see stronger winds than parts of the Inland Empire Valley.
The High Wind Warning is for San Bernardino County this includes, the town of Devore, North Fontana/San Bernardino, Rialto, the Cajon Pass, and all Mountain cities.

Wednesday night into Thursday evening With winds blowing around 40-50 mph with max wind gust at or around 60+ mph for the foothills and the canyon passes.
Thursday night into Friday night winds blowing around 50-60 mph with max wind gust at or around 70+ mph for the foothills and the canyon passes.
On Saturday morning and all day, the Wind Warning turns down to a Wind Advisory with winds blowing around 30-40 mph with max wind gust at or around 50+ mph for the foothills and the canyon passes.
Semi tractor-trailers could overturn on Interstate 15 and on the 210 Freeway in the Devore Fontana area.
Watch for objects that could potentially blow into the roadway. Tree limbs may break and trees may come down do to the rain last week. Other debris may come loose during strong gusty winds.
Residents and drivers should remain vigilant for downed trees and power lines. Power maybe turned off through the day or days due to the gusty winds. If you come across an intersection with traffic signals without power, approach it as a four-way stop.
The shutoff of power is designed to reduce the risk of fires caused by electrical equipment when strong winds are forecast. Several large fires in California have been linked to electrical equipment. Those in the wind areas should secure loose items including trash cans, BBQ, patio furniture, trampolines, and lawn decorations so they don’t blow away, get damaged, or cause damage to themselves.
