VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Driver was killed and a passenger were transported to the hospital after the rollover crash on Frontage Road next to Interstate 15, according to Victorville Police Department.
The crash occurred on the Frontage Road next to I-15 South On-ramp at around 5:45am.
Preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle, a white Chevrolet Traverse SUV, drove north on Frontage Road, swerved off the roadway, crashed and overturned east of Frontage Road and south of the Interstate 15 south on-ramp.
A male driver sustained major injuries and was later pronounced deceased on scene. A female passenger was transported to Saint Mary Hospital for minor injuries. Members of the Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
Frontage Road between the Interstate 15 south on-ramp and E Street were closed for about four hours for the investigation.
