CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >>A squall line of strong gusty winds will happen before the powerful storm on Monday morning February 16, 2026. A series of a strong winter storm from the Atmospheric River will impact more than strong rain/snow will be the strong gusty winds.
Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued the Weather Alert for the high desert cities, all San Bernardino County mountains that’s includes the Cajon Pass. With winds blowing around 40-50+ mph with max wind gust at or around 60+ mph at some higher peaks.
Watch for objects that could potentially blow into the roadway. Trees and tree limbs may break and other debris may come loose during strong gusty winds.
Those in the wind areas should secure loose items including trash cans, BBQ, patio furniture so they don’t blow away, get damaged, or cause damage to themselves.
Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all San Bernardino County mountains and for Wrightwood 10am Monday-Thursday 9am. The snow level will be above 7,000 feet then fall around 6,000ft Monday night into Tuesday. Tuesday night into Wednesday night the snow will drop to 5,000/4,000ft with a dusting around 3,000ft Wednesday night.
