PINON HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider is dead following a crash on Palmdale Road Highway 18 Friday night.
The accident was reported near the intersection of Palmdale Rd/Hwy 18 and Descanso Rd. around 8:12pm on May 1, 2026.
The rider was ejected from his yellow-colored bike.
At this time, we did not have any details if the rider was hit or lost control, beyond confirmation that a motorcyclist had died as a result.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
