RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> 77-year-old Theresa Evans has been identified as the passenger who was killed in a collision involving multiple vehicles on the 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga on Monday morning.
The crash happened at about 10:15am on July 27, 2026, on the westbound 210 Freeway, just east of Day Creek Boulevard. It was reported at least four vehicles involved in the collision.
One vehicle possible a black or dark gray Toyota C-HR Subcompact SUV collided in the back of a parked semi tractor-trailer on the right shoulder of the freeway. The collision caused debris to be scattered across all lanes. Possibly a black Toyota Camry sedan may have hit the SUV or debris and crashed into the center divider.
Emergency crews’ responders to the scene. Tragically, the passenger in the Toyota C-HR Theresa Evans lost their life in the crash.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Rancho Cucamonga Office.
