VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash Friday night with two, may have been street racing.
The crash was reported around 8:30pm on August 14, 2026, on Ridgecrest Road at Elmwood Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log.
A witness stated a yellow Chevrolet Camaro and a black Dodge Charger with lights off were racing in the area prior to the collision.
CHP said two vehicles were traveling northbound on Ridgecrest Road at a high rate of speed when a dark colored Acura sedan pulled out from Elmwood Drive and attempted to make a left turn in front of both of them. The Acura was split in half as resulted of one of the vehicles T-bone the vehicle. The Camaro busted into flames.
As resulted in the three-vehicle collision two people were deceased at the scene, authorities said.
No information was immediately available about the identities of those killed or whether anyone else was injured in the collision.
