ADELANTO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was killed Friday night after being hit by a car on Highway 395.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident that occurred about 8:39pm Friday August 21, 2026, on Highway 395 near Begonia Road and Seneca Rd. in the city of Adelanto.
A black Ford Mustang was traveling south on the highway when it hit a person walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by officials from San Bernardino County Fire.
The driver did remain at the scene and was cooperated with the investigation.
Sheriff’s department released no further details about this incident.
