YERMO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A GoFundMe account was launched for 20-year-old mother killed in a rollover crash in a dry lakebed, will help cover funeral costs and provide support for her 7-month-old daughter.
Lylianne Parsons from Riverside was a passenger killed in a rollover crash in a dry lakebed Saturday morning in the town of Yermo.
Investigators with the CHP reported that the crash occurred shortly approximately 2:52am on October 10, 2026. Jeremiah Vanek 22-year-old Yermo man was driving a Jeep through the Calico Dry Lakebed that is located west of Calico Road and north of Calico Boulevard when he lost control of the vehicle and overturned.
She was fully ejected from the Jeep and was transported to Barstow Community Hospital with serious injuries, sadly where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
CHP officers said, the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He was arrested and charged for DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.

It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the heartbreaking and tragic loss of Lylianne Parsons, a beautiful soul who was taken from this world far too soon. No words can truly express the pain of losing someone so loved, especially when she leaves behind her precious 7-month-old daughter who deserves a lifetime of love with her mommy.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on her family during this unimaginable time. The funds raised will go toward cremation expenses to give her the peaceful goodbye she deserves, as well as helping provide for her baby girl’s needs and future as she grows up without her mommy by her side.
No family should have to worry about the financial stress of laying their loved one to rest while trying to navigate such devastating grief. Our hope is to come together as a community to surround this sweet baby girl and her family with as much love, support, and help as possible.
