Car Catches Fire in the Cajon Pass Sunday Night

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Crews responded to a vehicle fire in the Cajon Pass on Sunday night. (Photo above is credit by Jimmy Nevarez)

At around 8:04pm on June 11, 2023, San Bernardino County Fire Department and US National Forest Fire units responded to a vehicle fire along northbound Interstate 15 about two miles after Highway 138 exit.

Firefighters arrived to find a white Nissan Sentra sedan fully engulfed in flames on the right shoulder.

The driver did escape the vehicle before catching fire.

Crews managed to control the blaze. There has been no word on any injuries.
