John Ortiz, 32, was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash at 11:40am Saturday June 8, 2024, on Sheep Creek Road, just north of Chevoit Rd, according to California Highway Patrol traffic log.
Ortiz was driving a white Chevrolet Traverse SUV, where he lost control rollover multiple times, and ultimately coming to a rest on its roof.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and Ortiz succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Please check back for updates on this incident.
