PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A vegetation fire erupted in the town of Phelan Friday morning. (Photo above is credit by Paola Cazola.)
This fire was reported at about 9:12pm Friday, June 14, 2024. The location of the flames were on Sheep Creek Road near Yucca Terrace Dr. San Bernardino County Fire Department and CAL FIRE firefighters were quickly on scene.
One structure was threatened at the start of the fire.
At 10:15am the fire has been stopped at about 3 acres burned. Firefighters will remain in the area for mop-up operations through the night make sure no hot spots flare up.
