APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Family and friends are mourning the death of 11-year-old Rhylin Skye Ovalle, who was killed in a rollover crash on Sunday July 6, on southbound Interstate 15 in north San Bernardino.
The tragic accident took place just before 7pm. A white Ford Expedition, carrying Rhylin and her family, was traveling northbound on the I-15 Freeway when it suddenly veered to the left possibly blew a tire, struck the concrete center divider, and rolled over, ultimately coming to a stop in the southbound lanes.
She was ejected from the vehicle, suffered fatal injuries and deceased at the scene.
The family GoFundMe fundraiser states. Our sweet 11-year-old Rhylin was tragically taken from us in a devastating car accident involving her parents and siblings. As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are holding tightly to faith, family, and love.
Rhylin was a bright light — full of energy, laughter, and love. She adored music and sports, had a deep love for animals, and was completely captivated by Hamilton (she knew every word!). More than anything, Rhylin loved her family and had a beautiful, growing relationship with God. Her faith and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She leaves behind three loving sisters, one devoted brother, and a family who will never stop cherishing her memory. We are asking for your support as we prepare to honor her life with a funeral and memorial that reflects her beautiful spirit.
All donations will go directly toward her funeral expenses. Any amount is deeply appreciated, and we thank you for your prayers, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
The fundraiser has surpassed its $20,000 goal, with over 280 people chipping in as of the afternoon of July 9.
