The King of the Hammers is an off-road race that combines desert racing and rock crawling. This race is held on Means Dry Lake in Johnson Valley, near Yucca Valley.
Nicknamed “Hammertown” is a pop-up town in the middle of the desert with roughly 400 teams and 80,000+ spectators will attend the three-week desert races.
Expect traffic on Bear Valley Road towards Highway 18 Lucerne Valley on Friday and on Saturday. Sunday coming back to I-15 Freeway.

Monday February 2, UTV Hammers Championship Qualifying. The weather will be sunny, and windy with a high of 72° and the low of 45°.
Tuesday February 3, Every Man Challenge Qualifying and Kids KOH Race. The weather will be sunny, and windy with a high of 72° and the low of 45°.
Wednesday February 4, King of the Hammers Race of the King’s Qualifying. The weather will be sunny, and windy with a high of 71° and the low of 45°.
Thursday February 5, UTV Hammers Race. The weather will be sunny, and windy with a high of 69° and the low of 46°.
Friday February 6, Every Man Challenge Race. The weather will be mostly sunny, and windy with a high of 69° and the low of 44°.
Saturday February 7, King of the Hammers Race of the King’s. The weather will be mostly sunny, windy with a high of 69° and the low of 43°.
Sunday February 8, PACKING UP and GOING HOME. The weather will be mostly sunny, windy with a high of 70° and the low of 45°.
