SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Heat Advisory for all of the Inland Empire cities and the whole high desert areas starting on Thursday and on Friday.
The Advisory will be in effect from 10am on Thursday March 12, 2026, to 8pm on Friday. Temperatures are expected to reach 93–98 degrees.
Hot conditions may cause heat-related illnesses, and very warm temperatures are expected to continue into the weekend into next week. There is a chance of the weather pattern to change back to rainy cold weather at the end of the month.
Heat Health Safety Tips:
Stay hydrated! The more hydrated you are, the more effective your body will be keeping your cool. Drink water – not soda, energy drinks, and alcoholic drinks, which will dehydrate you.
Avoid exercise in the middle of the day. If you need to exercise outside, do it early in the morning when the temperature is lower.
Wear lightweight, light-colored natural fabrics like cotton and linen, as these will help your skin breathe and let your sweat evaporate, this will keep you cooler.
Turn off big appliances and help prevent brown-outs!
Make sure your pets have shade and lots of water.
