LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An three-vehicle crash on Highway 18 Sunday afternoon, injured three people and one was airlifted to a hospital.
The crash was reported at about 1:19pm on May 31, 2026, at the intersection of Hwy 18 and Custer Road in the town of Lucerne.
The three-vehicle involved in the collision was reported a silver GMC Serria pickup truck with major rear-end damage, a black Kia Optima sedan with major front and rear damage, and a black Toyota Prius sedan with front end damage.
One of the three patients injured in the collision were airlifted with a compound fracture. Mercy Air Big Bear Fire Helicopter airlifted from Pioneer Park to Loma Linda University Hospital.
The other two were transported by ground ambulances to a local hospital.
