San Bernardino County emergency personnel say a tractor-trailer caught fire on 4:28pm June 17, 2023, about 6 miles north of the town of Baker, causing the northbound side to be temporarily blocked.
Traffic backup quickly and firefighters had the fire out in about a hour. Everybody did escape the semi before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene.
The official cause of the semi tractor-trailer fire is unknown at this time.
