CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pick-up truck towing a trailer caught fire on northbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a white Dodge Ram pickup truck on fire. The vehicle was located about one mile before the Oak Hills Road exit in the right shoulder.
The truck fire happened on Friday about 11am October 3, 2025. CHP and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the three right lanes while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.
Traffic backup quickly and firefighters had the fire out in about a half of an hour. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
