HESPERIA, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> Highway 173 by the Mojave River Forks Regional Park Campground. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls about a single vehicle rollover and two motorcycles accident at 3:45pm Saturday late afternoon.

When CHP arrived they saw a sliver Jeep Cherokee on its side and two Harley-Davidson motorcycles lying on the ground blocking the highway.

From reports from the CHP traffic log the driver of the Jeep hit the two riders head on and rollover and landed on its side.

One of the two riders was lying on the ground, the second one was up and walking around.

A San Bernardino County Fire Air Ambulance H325 (REACH) landed at the campground and transported one of the riders was flown to Loma Linda Univ Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The accident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.

CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
