FONTANA, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> A car caught fire on southbound I-15 Freeway in the city of Fontana morning, seeing a orange glow in the Inland Empire.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a white Toyota Corolla just before Foothill Boulevard exit on fire at 4:03am on May 28, 2020.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to shut down all lanes while they work on getting the fire put out.

The driver did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene

The cause of the vehicle fire is looks to be cause by the vehicle hitting the center divider guardrail.

Southbound lanes were reopened at 4:30am.
