BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was seriously injured in a single vehicle crash, causing it to roll several times before coming to rest on its wheels on the right shoulder of the freeway.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a sliver Chrysler minivan that rolled-over. It went across all southbound lanes landed about 100 feet on the right shoulder of the freeway. The accident was on the southbound side of Interstate 15 at Hwy 127/Kelbaker Road exit. The accident happened at 7:21am Sunday morning on May 31, 2020.

When CHP and firefighters responded to the scene, there was one victim inside the vehicle and trapped. Recuse firefighters requested a medical helicopter to transport the driver.

The medical helicopter landed at the Baker Airport. Mercy Air #66 helicopter airlifted the patient to Las Vegas University Trauma/Medical Center.

From the CHP Traffic Log the mini van lost control and hit the center guardrail. About 50 feet of guardrail has been damage.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.

CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
