SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A fatal accident on Interstate 215 about a mile after Palm Ave/Kendall Dr. Tuesday night. CHP reporting two people were killed in the crash.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic accident. The accident happened Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 9:44pm.

According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Logs, a three vehicle accident involving a Budget moving van that stopped in the center divider. A tan Toyota Camry that had damage and spun out and a green Honda Accord. From the traffic log one person was down on the ground outside of one of the vehicles in the slow lane.

Despite life-saving rescue measures, firefighters and CHP officials said the person was pronounced deceased at the scene. One person was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

CHP shutdown the southbound lanes for the investigation.

At 10:55pm they re-opened the #1 lane.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland San Bernardino Office.

CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.

*Update on the accident in separate vehicles Monic had a tire blow out so she pulled over on the shoulder of the freeway. Her boyfriend Gary drove down and pulled behind her vehicle to help her change her tire. Still under investigation the driver of the Budget moving truck hit both of them and killing them instantly.

Both people have been ID as Monic Wahin and Gray Hale.
