BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A car caught fire on southbound Interstate-15 Freeway in the town of Baker Friday afternoon.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a gold Nissan Sentra in the center divider on fire about half a mile after Baker Blvd. exit at 12:50pm on Friday afternoon July 3, 2020.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the fast lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.

A total of four people did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
