CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two vehicle crash with one vehicle that rolled over on southbound Interstate 15. The accident caused a major traffic delay late Sunday morning.
The roll-over accident was reported at 11:08am on Sunday October 18, 2020. A total of two vehicles were ivolved on the southbound Interstate 15 at the truck scales between Highway 138 and Cleghorn Road in the Cajon Pass.
The two vehicles involved in the crash were a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that overturned, landed on its wheels. And a light blue Hyundai Sonata with front end damage.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident and reported there was one person trapped and injured at the scene.
The accident temporarily blocked the #2, #3, and #4 lanes as they worked to free the driver and move the truck off of the freeway.
The driver of the pickup was transported by ground to a local hospital with unknown injuries. No other people were reported to be injured at the scene.
Traffic was backedup all the way to Main Street in Hesperia when they opened the lanes backup.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
