CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person walks away after a car crashed into a semi-trailer and became stuck underneath the trailer in the Cajon Pass late Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. The accident was reported on northbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass at the truck scales. This happened at about 11:40am Friday morning on March 12, 2021.
On arrival, CHP and firefighters located the small SUV partially under the semi trailer. The driver was able to get out of their vehicle under there own power. The driver also declined medical assistance at the scene.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a light blue cab, white trailer and an unknown small black SUV.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
