CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A overturned vehicle caused a major traffic delay this Easter morning in the Cajon Pass.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident of a single vehicle rollover accident. The rollover vehicle crash was reported about 10am on Sunday April, 2021. The vehicle was on the southbound lanes on Interstate 15 about a mile before Kenwood Avenue in the center median/left shoulder. The vehicle was reported as a dark gray Mazda 3 hatchback car with heavy front end damage and it had rolled over at least one time, landing on its wheels.
There were reports of one person inside the car and that person was able to get out with unknown injuries.
The crash temporarily blocked the fast lane as they worked to removed the vehicle from the freeway.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Please check back for updates on this incident.
