DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A car lost control and left the 15 freeway and struck a passing big rig semi on the 215 connector ramp to the 15 freeway Friday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the scene at about 12:03pm Friday May 7, 2021. The vehicles involved in the the crash were a gray Ford sedan and a gold big rig semi pulling a trailer. The crash caused the big rig to become disabled and blocked multiple lanes on northbound Interstate 215 transition ramp to northbound I-15 freeway Friday afternoon.
No injuries were reported at the scene. Traffic was backed up on the I-215 connector ramp for about a hour. There are no other details released.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
