CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person were injured as two vehicles rolled over onto their roofs following a crash in the Cajon Pass Friday night.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the scene at about 8pm Friday May 7, 2021. The crash was on southbound Interstate 15 about a mile after Cleghorn Road exit. The vehicles involved were a sliver Scion sedan and a Nissan SUV that both landed on there roofs in the middle lane.
CHP temporarily blocked all lanes for about a half an hour due to debris and vehicles moved out of lanes. One person was trapped inside their vehicle. With help of firefighters they were able to be freed. The person was transported to Desert Valley Hospital with unknown injuries, SBFD said.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
