CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A big rig with a trailer broke down Wednesday morning cause a shut down of two southbound lanes on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass for nearly two hours, causing heavy traffic delays, officials said.

The incident was reported about 9:43am on two southbound lanes on Interstate 15 just after Highway 138 on ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The lanes were reopened just before 12pm. Traffic was backup for miles all the way before Ranchero Road in Hesperia.
