VICTORVILLE,, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A SUV caught fire on northbound I-15 Freeway Monday afternoon, created an black smoke cloud that you could see for miles.
California Highway Patrol and Victorville City Fire Department were getting calls of sliver Hyundai Santa Fe SUV on fire on Interstate 15 after the Stoddard Wells Road/Bell Mountain exit about 1:57pm on Monday May 24, 2021.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the northbound 15 lanes while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed.
No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
